Framed Art 013

In the weekend of 26, 27 and 28 February 2021, a Window-Expo was organized in the St.Anna district in Tilburg under the name Framed Art 013. Artists and other interested residents could do something in or in front of their window on the street side. exhibit. A walking route was set out and a program booklet with information about the projects shown. There was a musical intermezzo in several places along the route.

With two of the groups I play in, we filled one place to present balafon music. ‘Balabos’ with Mirjam (N’Goni) and Anton (Percussion) was one of them. The other my class group Limburg with the occasional name ‘Bo Yaro’. Anja (Balafon), Jenny (Balafon and N’Goni), Gerard (Percussion) and Malu (Vocals) participated in this.

Below a few videos of the different songs we performed during Framed Art 013.

Kodanya is a song about how you can be happy without children.

Ko danya ni di mousso bete, kodanya ni sorola
ni woulou ba bereko mousso bete kodanya ni sorola
Ko danya ni di mousso bete, kodanya ni karala
ni woulou fa bereko mousso bete kodanya ni karala

Tyowa Bayo is a dancer who creates some space on the dance floor with his wild movements…
