Bannan Körö is a rhythm from the Malinke in Guinea. There are two kinds of the Baobap tree in West-Africa: The Seda and the Bannan. Körö means ‘under’ (the tree) . Meaning of the song: Join me under the Bannan-Baobap. There is it that I want to meet my love.
