Bolokonondo II

Last updated 24 August 2014

Bolokonondo (Bolo Konondo, Bolokononton) is one of the Dunumba-rhythms from the Malinke in Guinea. It means: ‘nine hands’ or ‘nine fingers’. Bolokonondo II is a creation by Famoudou Konaté from his CD ‘Guinéa: Percussions et Chants Malinke’ (vol. 2).
