Dutch French

DDen Wolo Ka Guele is a rhythm from Burkina Faso / Mali with a song in Dioula / Bambara. Women are everything for the world! She makes the family, the love, cares for the old age, for the good food. So women are everything! The woman gives birth to children (that’s hard). The woman represents something very important in the world, with her grace she creates (atmosphere in) the villages. In the second part of the song all good qualities are again listed. The song is on a beautiful CD with authentic, raw recordings. The birds make themselves heard regularly in the recordings!

1e: Moussorolo kay be, (ko) den wolo ka guele duniana
2e: Djamana moggo dé woulé dé ba, den wolo ka guele le duniana
of 2e: Djamana moro di waro bao toura, den wollo ka guele le duniana

Mousso le ye kourou so wolo…..
Mousso le yep herriee dauw wolo…..
Mousso le yes so ta soulo wolo…..
Mousso le yes so ta sou wolo…..
Mousso le ye doun le toro wolo…..

“Afrika Fantastica”

Den Wolo Ka Guele

These women in Ouezindougou have made a success of a garden project. More vegetables and fruit on the table in the families and some extra money for the household pot. In addition, the project started a wave of emancipation because the women of the village were together during the day and could discuss all kinds of things outside the family. This picture is taken during a visit of a Dutch supporting group.
