Kurabadon

Kurabdon (Korobadon, Kouroubadon): "Dunumba-rhythm from the Malinke-people in Guinea. This term means "Holy Bush" (editor: sacret grove). The people come and worship the spirit that lives in the bush. They bring offerings and ask questions, for instance about their family, business, hunting, etc. The procession to the forest is accompanied by this rhythm."(Mamady Keïta: A life for the Djembe). Two songs (no meaning jet).

1: Ee-ee, ee wararla oo-oo, soridyo
ee ti ka ta ba la mon ma
(name) ka ta ba la mon ma
kon mola do kurubada

2: E nakura korabadona mara ee
